Strawberry Pound Cake

A very foodie-fruity scent, the strawberry is very powerful while the cake brings in some softness. My husband is not a fan of super-sweet bakery stuff and even he loves this! I have to be in a mood for it because it's so strong.

Scent notes: Fresh strawberries, golden shortcake, whipped cream

Seasons: Spring, early summer, maybe early fall

Sweet, fruity, cakey, powerful. 4/5

Pink Velvet Cupcake

I really expected this one to be a super sweet bakery scent, but I think the praline helps ground it. Usually my sugary scents are too much for most people, but Pink Velvet Cupcake got nothing but love! Sweet and noticeable, but not overbearing.

Scent notes: Sparkling red berries, whipped pink marshmallow, sugared praline

Seasons: Spring and winter

Sweet, smooth, fruity. 4.5/5

Candied Violet Sorbet

I'm not usually a floral person but I surprisingly enjoy this one. I think the sweetness and berries make it brighter while the violets make it very soothing. Not very overwhelming, so I wear this in bed a lot. I half expected it to be much sweeter, like an ice cream, but that isn't quite the case here.

Scent notes: Sugared violet petals, vanilla sorbet, blackberry swirl

Seasons: Late spring, early summer, seasons when it's supposed to be cold, but isn't because the south is too hot

Slightly fruity, slightly floral, slightly sweet. Well-rounded and soft. 4/5

Sunrise Woods

I'm always eager to try out new cashmere scents, and fell in love with this in store. It's a bright, slightly fruity-sweet scent, white the woody notes keep it from getting too sweet. Combines some of my favorite scents!

Scent notes: Creamy sandalwood, sweet berries, cozy cashmere

Seasons: Fall, early winter, spring

Very bright, not too sweet, quite woody. 4.5/5

Wicked Vanilla Woods

Very pleasantly surprised with this one. I wasn't able to smell the body cream in-store, but I really wanted it for the packaging! The holo and the bats are just gorgeous. The name implied to me that it could be a sweeter scent, but with the pepper note I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Instead of a sweet sugary scent, this is a deep, warm, peppery scent. Absolutely wonderful - and not what I expected.

Scent notes: Magical vanilla, glowing amberwood, enchanted pink pepper

Seasons: Late summer, fall, maybe spring

Very warm, not super sweet, the pepper is great. 4/5

Fire - Elements Collection

By far my favorite of the four. This was probably the only one I loved straight out of the box. It's spicy, powerful, and perfectly fits fire. I always enjoy patchouli scents so I'm not surprised, and its a spiciness that you don't find often. Just like I could go to sleep wearing Air, I would love to wake up wearing Fire. Spicy enough to energize you, but woody enough to center you.

Scent notes: Patchouli, sandalwood, bergamot

Seasons: Aromatherapy

Spicy, woody - perfect. 5/5

Air - Elements Collection

My second place in this collection, but once again I don't feel like it fits the element on the label. I have a feeling that if you could switch the scents for Earth and Air, they would fit better.
I don't get a lot of the mandarin but I'm loving the eucalyptus and lavender! This will probably replace my Sleep - Lavender and Cedarwood when I eventually (sadly) run out of it. 😭

Scent notes: Lavender, eucalyptus, spearmint, mandarin

Seasons: Aromatherapy

Very calming, simple. Not too much, not too little. 4/5

Water - Elements Collection

When I first smelled this out of the box, I knew I recognized it from somewhere before. Couldn't place my finger on it then, but it smells just like makeup remover wipes! That's my only hang-up on this one. 😅 I think it fits very well with water, but I don't see it being a scent I reach for often.

Scent notes: Bergamot, lemongrass, juniper

Seasons: Aromatherapy

Very soft and relaxing, a little summery. 3.5/5

Earth - Elements Collection

This is probably my least favorite of the line, which saddens me because, as an earth sign, I was hoping to enjoy it. Its very light and powdery which to me doesn't seem to fit with this element.
None of the scents in the collection are bad - some just don't fit with the element they were assigned to. This needed something to ground it, maybe some petrichor, or more of the pepper.

Scent notes: Sandalwood, vetiver, pine, black pepper

Seasons: Aromatherapy

Nice, but not what I expected. Very light/soft, an average lotion scent. 3/5

At The Beach

This one is very out of my ordinary. I usually don't go for beachy, sunscreen-y scents, but I had to get this when it came out with the pride packaging! I didn't even smell it in the store because I knew it wasn't up my ally, but when I got it home I was surprised to enjoy it! I don't reach for it often but its very nice when I'm in the mood.

Scent notes: White frangipani blossoms, toasted coconut, bergamot waters, sea salt breeze, sunkissed musk

Seasons: Summer

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. Very light, floral, and summery. 3.5/5

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin

One of my all-time favorites! The pumpkin and vanilla give it a fruity sweetness, while the cinnamon and ginger snap give it a spiciness that I love! I wear this all the time in the warm fall months.

Scent notes: Heirloom pumpkin, autumn cinnamon, ginger snap, whipped vanilla

Seasons: Fall, maybe late summer

A little sweet, little spicy. Very fall. 4.5/5

Sweater Weather

I love wearing this when I'm craving an apple scent. Its what I imagine walking through an apple orchard would smell like. Very fall, but sometimes I reach for it in springtime when I want to be fruity but not super sweet. I didn't get it for the longest time because I thought it would smell like the Sweater Weather candle. 😅

Scent notes: Sun-crisped apple, autumn leaves, orchard woods

Seasons: Fall, maybe spring, maybe early winter

Pretty soft, not very sweet, but very apple orchard-y. 4/5

Brown Sugar & Fig

This is one of my favorites, especially lately. Fig is not a fruit I see in scents very often, and I love how it smells. The brown sugar sort of deepens it without making it super sweet.

Scent notes: Fresh fig, coconut milk, caramelized brown sugar

Seasons: Spring and summer, maybe mid winter

Pretty simple, not super sweet, very fruity! 4/5

Papaya Paradise Cove

I really like this one when I'm feeling fruity and summery. Very nice on a summer day, and pretty soft.

Scent notes: Fresh papaya, starfruit water, honeysuckle, passion flower, amber

Seasons: Maybe late spring, summer

Not very floral, not super sweet, but very fruity and light. 3.5/5

Gingham

I initially thought Gingham would be too floral for me to enjoy, but I just had to get it because its pretty much the poster child for everything Bath & Body Works. It borders on too powdery for me, but its sweet enough to pull through. I usually wear this when I'm not feeling foodie.

Scent notes: Blue freesia, white peach, fresh clementine, violet & clean musk

Seasons: Mid spring to mid summer, possibly late summer

Its nice and clean. Not too floral for me to hate, and sweet enough for me to enjoy. 3.5/5

Winterberry Wonder

I love the berry and fruity scents in this one!
Less spice-y than Sugared Cranberry Cider, which helps it tip out of fall, and light/fruity enough to tip into spring.

Scent notes: Red winterberry, ruby apple, sparkling cranberry, camellia blossom, crystal vanilla

Seasons: Winter, early to mid spring

Pretty sweet and fruity! I don't get much floral. 4.5/5

Snowflakes & Cashmere

One of my favorite scents!! This is where I found my love of cashmere.<3

Scent notes: Vanilla cashmere cream, caramel woods, frosted clementine

Seasons: Very late fall, winter, very early spring

Pretty sweet, a little musky. CASHMERE! 6/5

Black Amethyst

I don't like florals, but this one might be growing on me. Might be woody enough to pull through. Definitely have to be in a mood for it.

Scent notes: Peony petals, sweet sandalwood & patchouli, creamy amber

Seasons: Good for nighttime, maybe late fall, early winter

Pretty floral and musky, not very sweet 2.5/5

Into the Night

I gotta be in a mood for this one, but when I am it's one of my favorites. Took some getting used to if I'm being honest. A very elegant and smooth scent.

Scent notes: Raspberry noir, amber crystals, velvety rose petals, creamy patchouli, mocha musk

Seasons: Definitely a nighttime scent, maybe late summer, fall, and early winter

Very musky, elegant. Could be the mocha but I get hints of chocolate sometimes. I don't think it's very fruity, but perhaps a little sweet. 4/5

Sugared Cranberry Cider

I love Sugared Cranberry Cider! It's not autumn until I pull this one out. (But by that definition, it's always autumn <3)

Scent notes: Wild cranberries, juicy mulberries, plumb blossoms, velvet musk

Seasons: Fall, early winter

Very fruity, not super sweet. Personally don't get much floral. 5/5
